The most current version is AutoCAD 2018, with later versions usually being released every two years. AutoCAD Client-Server (AutoCAD CS) AutoCAD CS (AutoCAD Client-Server) is used to run AutoCAD on a network (such as the Internet) and to connect to remote users. With it, AutoCAD works in a client–server environment, similar to that of MS Word or a web-based spreadsheet application.
